Willoughby – The Market Garden Park

A bit about the Garden Market Garden Park- Garden Place Mowbray Road Willoughby- new community garden in a new housing development called KIAH. Launching this new garden we have some enthusiastic residents who keep an eye on things. WE have 4 large beds part of some have already been gardened by a couple of locals so they retain these spaces. Otherwise its an all share community garden. We have 6 compost bins worm farm and some permanent plantings like paw paw lavender rosemary thyme. Aim is to teach residents how to garden organically and come together to enjoy each others company. We are making our own pest sprays- like aphid rhubarb spray and coffee spray for caterpillars which we could do a demo of or worm farm set up or compost bins set up. Pretty flexible. We don’t have power outlet or toilet ( neighbours could make their bathroom available on the day)
