The Hub Community Garden was first established at the back of one Council building to show how bricks recycled from a demolition can be used to create a beautiful garden space.
The garden was extended to the back of the neighbouring building a few years later. Beds were built here using sleepers. The sleepers have now all rotted and the beds have recently been dismantled.
We are in the process of building lasagne gardens in this space and are hoping that these will be ready to display at the Sydney Edible Garden Trail 2022. They are being built with funding from the Sydney Edible Garden Trail.
