North Wahroonga – Gauri’s Verge Garden

A water smart street garden with Australian Native plants and raised garden beds to grow veggies with inground composting and rainwater retention.

The garden is built to retain all rainwater on site by laying agpipes on the perimeter. Native plants have been attracting a lot of wildlife – wallabies, birds, bees. The garden will keep over an estimated 80,000 litres of water on the garden annually, and stop that much polluted water entering the downstream rivers and ocean.
