STORY

The Habitat is now 9 years old. It was started and is run by community volunteers, all members of Habitat Network (see our website www.habitatnetwork.org). We encourage the community to become involved in providing habitat in their gardens for small birds such as fairy wrens, scrub wrens, red-browed finch and pardalotes. Our garden demonstrates how growing food and incorporating native habitat work hand-in-hand to provide a healthy space for birds, native bees and people.
Come along and talk to us about what you can do in your garden. On site is a community nursery where we sell native plants and food plants to inspire you to put your ideas into action.
