STORY

The Community Environment Centre Annangrove is an educational resource, community hub and environmental demonstration site for residents, visitors and volunteers on various topics such as gardening, planting natives and sustainability in the home and backyard.
The Community Environment Centre has several features and resources:
1. Vegetable garden
2. Bush tucker garden
3. Growing food for wildlife planting plot
4. Native garden
5. Waterwise garden bed
6. Range of different compost bins
7. Worm farm
8. Native beehive
9. Centre building full of flyers and information about other local environmental organisations, projects and groups and an environmental reference library.

The Community Environment Centre aims to connect, inform, advise and inspire community on environmental topics and initiatives within the local area. We aim to give ideas, connect community and inspire people to grow their own food, be sustainable and to grow Australian native plants.

We will be running tours of the Community Environment Centre space and gardens on demand throughout the day.
