After returning to Australia from a stint living in the USA we were planning to buy an acreage. After a bad cancer diagnosis in the family we decided this wasn't sensible but as luck would have it the property next door came up for sale and it had a small cottage and a very large garden area. More than five years later (cancer overcome) we're trying to get better at managing the garden to be more productive, but struggling in between full time jobs and kid wrangling.
