Angel Street Permaculture Garden is a volunteer run community garden that has been in operation since 1991.
We grow as one whole garden and not as individual plots so we have a larger diversity of plants, any produce harvested goes to the volunteers or the community.
We have a large range of fruit trees including an Ice Cream Bean, Mulberry, Avocado, Guava, Japanese Raisin Tree, Nectarine, Curry Leaf, Pear, Coffee, Jaboticaba, Custard Apple, Citrus, Fejoia and a few more.
We have raised beds, in ground beds, a terraced hill and many areas that are still a work in progress.
We have a 3 bay composting system, numerous worm farms and compost bins used for food waste that we take in from the community.
FROGLAND is currently under construction, separated from the main garden by a dead-hedge, used to encouraged insects and lizards.
