Bringelly Public School is set in a semi-rural location. The area has 3 large garden spaces; made up of a vegetable garden, a newly established orchard with dwarf fruit trees, a bush tucker garden and includes a dam as our back drop. The space is made up of container gardens, one of which is a wicking bed and also large beds made up of sleepers that act as our vegetable garden. It also boasts 2 permanently built trellises, which are used for the very popular peas. The school garden has an up-cycled bathtub that is our worm farm. It is run by an enthusiastic group of students, who love to spend their lunch time helping with the multiple jobs that are required in any garden. The garden space is going to incorporate a large yarning circle which will will be created, fortunately, with assistance from an outside agency.
