FoodLab Sydney's community garden is an integral part of FoodLab's kitchen incubator program that supports migrant, refugee, First Nations and other food entrepreneurs to grow and formalise their food businesses.
The garden represents diversity in culture through the growing of food from a range of nationalities and cuisines. Located within a commercial complex, the garden demonstrates the success of water-smart wicking beds, on site composting and worm farms.
Having just entered its second year, the community garden has already yielded a modest quantum of kitchen staples including potatoes, corn, chillies, lettuce, okra, eggplant, strawberries, native raspberries and much more.
We look forward to sharing our garden with you!
