Hawkesbury EarthCare Centre was established in the 70s. Once a thriving hub of activity, it is now re-emerging as a vibrant and sustainable gathering place for people to learn and work together for responsible stewardship of the earth. It incorporates a community gardening initiative and serves as a gathering place for community members interested in organic gardening, environmental conservation and community engagement.
The garden promotes eco-friendly practices, biodiversity, and hands-on learning opportunities for individuals of all ages. It fosters a sense of community by encouraging collaboration, education and the sharing of knowledge among its participants, while also promoting environmental awareness and the importance of local food production.
Over the next few months, Hawkesbury EarthCare Centre is excited to be offering a series of innovative, educational and creative workshops; living skills workshops and a range of community events.
Hawkesbury EarthCare Centre offers a tranquil space where visitors can simply take a breath as they wander around the garden.
As a venue, Hawkesbury EarthCare Centre offers a unique space with an earth building surrounded by nature.
