Kentridge is a large garden on a 5 acre property with 36 raised vegetable beds made from timber or steel, including several wicking beds. The orchard contains more than 90 fruit trees. There are also areas with native bush tucker plants. Water tanks with drip irrigation systems are in use. Other features include: Native bee hives, European honey bee hive, an 8Kw solar system, a greenhouse and a propagation area. The large garden shed is equipped with running water. There is a 15m chicken run for the ISA browns, 13 compost bins and 6 worm farms. Other plants include flowering natives and trees, 180 rose bushes and 500 metres of hedging. This is a child friendly garden with plenty to explore. Garden tours will be conducted on demand and can take 30 – 40 mins.
