Kimbriki’s Eco House and Garden team members invite all 2023 edible garden trail ticket holders to join them in the eco house and garden, our peaceful and thriving greenspace in the heart of a working resource recovery centre, where many resources are redirected from landfill to be reused and recycled.
The Eco House and Garden design is based on permaculture principles and the 4 R’s – Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Features of the garden include a strawbale composting toilet building, hempcrete demonstration building, propagation nurseries, compost and worm farming areas, eco shop and shaded seating areas.
NOTE: Hosts will be in attendance on Saturday. On Sunday, visitors are welcome. The signs will be on display but the hosts will not be in present (they’ll be on the trail themselves!)
