STORY

Our block is steep with shallow soil on rock, so we have built 6 wicking beds in our front yard to grow mostly edible plants. We built two in the backyard that failed, so we have learned a lot along the way. Come and get some tips from us.
We belong to Permaculture Sydney West and Penny is part of the seed saver team specialising in seed collecting. Chickens, native bees, composting, worms and grey water use are some of the features in our garden, along with an old tractor!
