STORY

The Garden of Sel is a suburban block of one-sixth of an acre. With intensive garden beds, fruit trees, and a chicken yard with chicken tunnels, it has been designed to showcase permaculture principles. It was featured in Costa’s visits around the Sydney Edible Garden Trail of 2020, and has been expanded on and upgraded since then. In 2023, the garden will showcase a spring-to-summer growing system, productive fruit trees, and a fully-fledged “bee garden”. It is, as always, a work in progress.
