Our garden is just over 6 years old, combining elements of cottage, potager and habitat garden styles across several distinct spaces. The site is on an unusually shaped block on clay soil, which presents some interesting challenges but also has its good points. The design has evolved a few times, with some major changes made during 2025. We now have several fruit trees, an espalier pomegranate, a quail pen, and a variety of edible and flowering plants, trees and grasses to provide food and increase the biodiversity of the garden. If it’s a sunny day, you’re likely to see at least a few lizards when you visit!
