The Gunyah Garden started as a sensory garden with a grant from the Uniting Church, to give the community the opportunity to share with nature and enjoy the benefits of growing plants and edible produce. Last year we created a bush tucker trail in the native section of the garden. We started with a finger lime and now we have a wide variety edible native plants. We hold educational talks and bush tucker tastings throughout the year. Gunyah is the Aboriginal name for meeting place or hut.
