STORY

A large, mixed garden based on Permaculture principles, there is a fernery with huge and beautiful Angophoras (trees). The cottage garden borders attract beneficial critters, and a 'woody meadow' is in development to sustain birds, butterflies etc., with tall grasses, salvia, echinacea etc.
A large pond contains 25 year old koi, with waterfall, watercress and a rogue, sprawling tomato plant in the Japanese garden with clipped box and an Acer. Two big wicking beds and some smaller ones grow herbs and seasonal vegetables along the driveway…the spot in the garden with all day sun summer and winter.
The chicken run along the side of the garage holds 'the girls' until they come out for a run at day's end on a mission to wreck the garden!
This previously formal garden has had vegetables and natives introduced over the seven years I have been gardening here in this beautiful spot with a view over Woodford Bay through the trees.
We think we are in paradise!
Kookaburras breed here and there are king parrots, tawny frogmouths, butcher birds, currawongs, magpies and lorikeets plus some lovely brush turkeys!
We will also have paintings and sculpture for sale.
